“Do Folks Still Want to Help?”

Dear Friends,

This year, our hearts are heavier than usual. Since January 20, we’ve been hearing story after story—people whose lives have changed in ways they never expected. Families who were doing alright a year ago now find themselves struggling to put food on the table or keep the lights on. The needs are real, and they are right now.

At our nonprofit, this season—Thanksgiving through Christmas—is when compassion becomes our most important work. But this year, we need your help more than ever.

Some say we should save and “store up for later,” but for so many, later may be too late. The SNAP benefits that once stretched a month now barely stretch a week. Seniors are skipping meals so their grandchildren can eat. Parents are trying to decide between heat or groceries.

We don’t take asking lightly. Every year, we hope the need will lessen—but it hasn’t. And yet, every year, people like you remind us that hope is still alive.

If you’ve ever wondered whether your gift still matters—it does.
If you’ve ever questioned whether folks still care—they do, and you are proof.

Please consider giving today. Whatever you can share—$10, $25, $100—will make a difference right now for someone who needs to know they’re not forgotten this holiday season.

Together, we can turn compassion into action and make sure that everyone, no matter what they’re facing, can sit down to a warm meal and feel seen, cared for, and loved.
