"The North Main Community Center has been very helpful and I'm very grateful for the services they've provided for me and my family. I come in for food appointments when needed and they're always there. Also made my past Christmas complete for my son with the Christmas program. I also was involved with the Thanksgiving basket. Thank you N. Main and everyone who makes it what it is for the community."

From Our Program Partners:

"To Reverend Whiten and the Ann Arbor Community Center,
On behalf of the Pediatric Advocacy Clinic at the University of Michigan Law School, I would like to thank you for your very generous donation. Because of you, we were able to provide warm jackets to a family of 5, including three small children and two adults. The family who received the jackets and I are incredibly grateful for your kindness. The Ann Arbor Community Center does great work and I am proud to work with this organization.
Best regards, "

"Dear AACC, Just wanted to let you know that last week we had a patient, a young man with a serious seizure disorder, who lives in Belleville and wasn’t able to get transportation through insurance (not provided through Medicare) or through any community services (all age-restricted or cost-prohibitive or area-limited), and he really needed to get to a seizure specialist at UofM Neurology, as there weren’t any of that specific specialist in Wayne County. We were able to get him to that doctor for a cancellation spot, next-day appointment, using your generous help and he was able to get engaged in this critical care he needed: thanks again for your support!"

"It's so amazing what we can give to our students. We have everything that a family may need for their children through the Always Available Caring Closets. We are so blessed to have the Ann Arbor Community Center as our partner"

"I was serving at the Christmas Day breakfast at my church. I appreciated the speech given by the gentleman that came from the AACC, and the gifts that you all gave to those homeless men probably made my day more than theirs. I sent this small check to help. ($25) Hope to see you again on Christmas Day!"

"Dear Reverend Whiten,

We are so grateful to you and The Ann Arbor Community Center.

Last week we were able to give a ride to a diabetic senior woman to attend our diabetes education group as her sugars have been worrying her, and we were able to help her get home in time before her grandsons got off the school bus, thanks to your Lyft fund. Our appreciation, always, for this incredible source of support!"

"Dear Rev. Whiten,

The MDHHS agency would like to send the most sincere appreciation and thank you for purchasing the dresser drawer for our foster child who has been returned home to his mother.

Your creative thinking of paying another non-profit agency to help this family has assisted in solving an important matter. Yes, it maybe a small matter to most families, but your agency made a big difference to a family who has faced many mental, physical, emotional and financial crisis, yet they are survivors because of caring citizens like yourself.

Again, thank you on behalf of the family and this agency in purchasing a beautiful dresser drawer from Share House of Ann Arbor."
