Because Sometimes You Need a Helping Hand
Emergency Food Distribution
We provide food groceries for individuals and families, including folks who work and still need help! No one should go to bed hungry. Especially children!
Last year we served over 10,000 pounds of food through our partnership with Food Gatherers. That’s over 8,000 meals! We also received over 4000 pounds of food from other sources. We are proud to have served over 12,000 meals.
All food requests MUST be made via phone: (734) 662-3128. By appointment only.
Thanksgiving Baskets
Through our Thanksgiving Baskets Program we provide a bountiful Thanksgiving meal to families who otherwise would have little to place on their table.
Holiday Adopt a Family Program
The holiday season can be stressful for families who are struggling to get by. Through our Holiday Family Adoption Program we help provide holiday gifts to help spread the spirit of love and giving to those in need.
Emergency Help
Local agencies who serve children and families reach out to us when they need assistance in providing emergency help for homeless families, families in the foster care system, or low-income students. We do our best to help.
We identify specific items or services needed and find a solution to address the emergency need. And if we can simply get them to the right resource, we do.
When the Michigan Foster Care system needed help to keep a family together, we stepped up!
We do not normally provide furniture, but by making an exception, a special-needs child was able to stay with their special-needs parent. We provided this dresser to complete court-ordered requirements! Many efforts were included, but this one small thing mattered!

Help Us Reach Even More People!
We’re only just beginning. We want to go even further! And you can help us reach more students in need of supplies so we can give all of them a chance to succeed.
Here's how you can help:
- Make a monetary donation and designate "Emergency Services."
- Tell someone who is in need about our services.
- Ask your group to become a partner and donate or volunteer to help.
