The folks at AARP are reaching out to let you all know that from now through December 17, 2021, the AARP Ride@50+ Program is offering FREE rides! Here are the details:
- Free, door-to-door, accessible rides available through the AARP Ride@50+ Program now through December 17, 2021
- Free rides open to any person of any age for any purpose. Do not need to be AARP member
- No limit on the number of rides booked and completed by December 17, 2021 – people can book multiple rides on multiple days if they wish
- No limit on the cost of the rides booked and completed by December 17, 2021
- Free rides available within Ride@50+ service area (Washtenaw County)
- Must book and complete trip by December 17, 2021
- Rides can be booked for yourself, or for someone you care for
- ADA accessible transportation options available
To book the free rides, call the AARP Ride@50+ Program at 855-955-1926. Free rides can be booked via their call center only (not via online portal or app). The call center is open M-F, 8AM – 6:30PM. Any calls after hours will be returned during business hours.
Keep washing your hands with soap and stay apart from others AND….get vaccinated as soon as you can!!!
