Carter G. Woodson chose the second week of February to coincide with the birthdays of Frederick Douglass, a famed abolitionist who escaped from slavery, and President Abraham Lincoln, who formally abolished slavery.

A mom who is a double amputee with several children was NOT evicted yesterday because we worked with others to keep them in their home,
A mom needed baby formula. $28 dollar baby formula. You would be surprised how much $28 is when you have nothing.
