UPDATE – COVID 19 Starting Monday we will no longer be able to shop at Food Gatherers. They will coordinate some pick up of food. We will try to anticipate what we will need and they will bag it for us as they have it. We will see if we need deeper purchases of food. We know there are so many more calls coming in. We will be able to order food from them but this food is purchased. Please consider a monetary donation if you can. Any amount is helpful!
We will prepare a plan to accept food from the Community. Please call 734.662.3128 leave a message if you have food to donate. If we cannot use your donation we can get it to Food Gatherers. There are simply fewer donations coming in to them and therefore all pantrys are affected.
What type of items are most needed?
- eggs, milk, cereal, rice, pasta, canned veggies, dried beans, tuna
- chicken, ground turkey, ground beef.
Listen everyone. We believe we will be alright as a Community. However, we need to check on our neighbors, call relatives and obey the boundaries!! 6 feet apart, wash your hands, for 20 seconds-front and back.
Be careful of scammers. Fill out the Census.
We will get through this together!
Thanks to Skyline High School for this important truth!!
