The hybrid is working as another new way to learn! Teachers and other Staff report that having students in the building “is a joy!”

There will be more opportunities for summer enhancement, enrichment classes. But the main thing is we are getting there slowly.

There are still some problems that our AACC folks report. Staff and social work volunteers report they are experiencing a significant increase in having to do suicide risk evaluations and reports to protective services.The emotional health of everyone in our communities is suffering as the uncertainties that continue. We thought we were on the downslide of this pandemic and now numbers are going up again with the new variant.

Michigan is on the rise in cases. Especially in younger folks. We must pay attention to our students and neighbors and friends. It’s been a long time. Everyone may NOT be ok. See something, please say something.

Keep washing your hands with soap and stay apart from others AND….get vaccinated as soon as you can!!!
