As Jim Harbaugh would say “ it doesn’t get better than this!” A Pioneer High School Student, contacted the Ann Arbor Community Center, Inc. in the very midst of our ASK and need for assistance. Now, of course, we want to thank every adult that volunteered and everyone who donated funds too! But, a Junior in High School called the AACC and said “ what can I do to help!” He shared that he would really like to help a family. So without hesitation we assigned a family to him. 

Jack Templeton involved not only himself, but he motivated his family to get involved! We know this because when he came to The Ann Arbor Community Center his sister Laine was with him (another Pioneer High Student) and she seemed excited as well! Jack’s only concern was “I hope we brought food that they will like!” He said we got 3 kinds of potatoes and a Turkey and a Ham!! I want all of you to know, this is our favorite story of the Thanksgiving season! We told some of the guys who were at work and they just could not believe it!!

Thank you Jack Templeton! the family that we gave you to serve, has 4 children in the Ann Arbor Public Schools. Thank you for choosing to help someone, for shopping, for bringing and for sharing so much of yourself. You made their day. Thank you for taking your time, and your desire to serve to help us get it done!!
