Enjoy your holiday! School starts Tuesday. We are looking forward to seeing our kids and schools in high gear again!

We’re stocking our Always Available Caring Closets in our partner schools with supplies and personal care items so no child has to do without what they need for their school day. And we’re gearing up for providing other much needed support for our Washtenaw County families in need.

Two of the 11 schools that are on our regular run ( many more schools get help but not on a regular rotation) have lost their status for Title 1 designation. We have met with the Principals and we get it.

The need in those schools is even greater! They actually need our help more than ever now. Those children are still there, the money is just gone. We will not drop them and we hope to keep you posted on how we get over this hurdle with them.
